my precious you......

Based on the novel Push, by Sapphire, this story is about Claireece Precious Jones, a morbidly obese black teen from a Welfare home. Precious has been abused her entire life, by both her father and her mother. He father’s abuse was sexual. Because of his rapes, Precious has two children by him.

Precious is practically illiterate, yet in her inner city Harlem school, she’s considered a good student because she’s quiet and rarely causes any trouble. Her life changes, however, when school officials discover that she’s pregnant and is subsequently kicked out of school. Her only option is to attend an alternative school.
The alternative class is taught by Ms. Rain, who cares deeply about her students. Once Precious learns to trust and believe in Ms. Rain, she begins to believe in herself and starts to turn her life around.

Again…this is a story which represents students out there who involve in any problem about their life. As a teacher, we should be alert about their problems because some of them might be a sexual victim as Precious. We need to know their background so that it’s easy for us to contact their family if anything happened.

...what goes around comes around...

have you ever heard this quotation???

it means that you might face the same problem as what you did to others...
this is the tittle for my position paper...

based on short story 'A Great Injustice'...this quotation best describe Ah Seng or the father's action...
as well as we knows...his daughter Ah Nya are pregnant before get married and been abandon by her boyfriend....

Ah Seng did the same thing before he married Ah Soh...
what goes around comes around but not to the same people....it goes to people around us and they need to face it because of our fault...

so...before doing something..we should think about the consequences of it  and how it could be a trouble for people aoround us...

FINDING FORRESTER

Finding forester…seriously and honestly, I don’t really enjoy the story…maybe because of how slow it’s moving on from one part to another part…this movie was about a young guy with extraordinary skills in writing and basketball. No one appreciate his skills for some reasons such as skin color.

But one day he finds an old man which is his favorite author…they start a new friendship and they break the generation gap while working together. The old man helps the young guy to build and resurrect his emotions and confidence.

What I learn from this movie is that, as a teacher we should be more open towards our students…so… they know that we always there if they need help and support to success and perform well……….

P.R.I.N.C.I.P.A.L

This story is about Joe Clark… who becomes the principal of a destitute New Jersey high school plagued with violence, drugs, and abysmal academic performance. Clark is given the daunting task of bringing student's test scores up to the minimum acceptable level within one school year or the school will be taken over by the state.

Clark is fiercely strict and demanding towards both his students and teachers. This makes him the target of countless parents, board members, civil servants, and other teachers determined to bring him and his radical new style down.

But for me… even he stick with his opinion...but...he still consider his students favor..for example, when he said that every student has to memorize the school song or they will be suspended...they change the rhythm...but...he love it when he listen to the new genre of the song which is more catchy and enjoyable...he will be the first to face all the problems in the school...important element in order to be a good teacher..

SPEEL IT RIGHT

Akeelah Anderson is a precocious 11-year-old girl from south Los Angeles with a gift for spelling. Even she is not really good in other subjects, she works well with words. Despite the objections of her mother Tanya, Akeelah enters various spelling contests, for which she is tutored by the forthright Dr. Larabee. Akeelah's aptitude earns her an opportunity to compete for a spot in the Scripps National Spelling Bee and in turn unites her neighbors who witness the courage and inspiration of one amazing little girl. Besides that she also makes a good friend with other contestants except for Dylan...
The most interesting part while watching this movie is during the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition. All of us enjoy the moment as we were sitting and watching the competition live. Great movie!!!!!!!!!
This movie was actually dedicated for anyone who had a favorite subject in school. As a teacher, we should be alert that students come with different level and interest. We have to encourage and support them so that they will be more confidence while performing the ability that they have.

What a wonderful movie…can we be a good teacher as RON CLARK???? Think about it…

At first he been ignored by everyone…but when he got the chance to teacher…he gives his best…
Work with people that considers as ‘losers’ by others doesn’t mean he should stop and quit from teaching. For him, the ‘losers’  with lowest grades, most unruly and less achieving is a way to challenge his teaching skill. When other called the students as ‘losers’, he sees potential in every child and not give up on them…his approaches, energy and steps produce a wonderful outcome…

He brings out the students strengths…the most important is he successfully makes them aware of their own self worth.

Yes…as a teacher we are supposed to give more than education…it is all about life…create a positive view and perception towards life…

the beauty.......

''the beauty of Malaysian literature''
this is the tittle for my research paper. ..i choose Che Husna Azhari to represent the beauty of Malaysian Literature. Thanks to  'Of Bunga Telor and Bally Shoes' and 'Mariah'.
Proud to be Malaysian, friends!! because you wouldn't read about 'nasi berlauk' or 'teh tarik' in English Literature...does English Literature talked about how 'Bunga Telor' lokks alike??? did they wrote about the uniqueness of the culture and did they explain about the harmonize of multiracial?? NO!!
most of their works told us about the meaning of life...love and conflict or scandal...
knowing and learning about our own culture will increase our pride as Malaysian...
hopefully i can slowly and smoothly write my research paper..

MC'J9~ dream your dreams...

based on traditional fables..we have to create our own fable...to be honest...me, dida, mun n ee got this idea while having Mc Donald together...
based on Malay traditional fable- Mat Jenin- we create our own modern story- Mc'J9
Mc'J9 storyline is basically same as Mat Jenin but in modern version...
if Mat Jenin dreaming on top of coconut tree, our Mc'J9 is a student who find out that the questions are too easy for him...so he keeps on thinking about his bright future if he could pass the exam with flying colors...but then he out of time to answer all the questions because of his dreams...
come on people...dream will remains as a dream if we did not move on to make it reality...

mona lisa smile...

This movie takes place in 1953 at Wellesley College where young women are being groomed for marriage rather than for further studies or a career. The movie starts out with a new art teacher named Katherine Watson (Julia Robert) coming to Wellesley College from the west coast where rumors have her being a free spirit with a Bohemian background.
for me...this movie is about women perception towards life and marriage...feminism?? i love how Katherine Watson teaches her students not only about art...but how to describe life through art...
as a teacher, we should be ready to share all the knowledge that we have with students...not what should we teach in school or the subject itself but also the way to live the life...

MARRIAGE^-^

marriage??? what does it mean??

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kindship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged in a variety of ways, depending on the culture or subculture in which it is found. Such a union, often formalized via a wedding ceremony.

People get married for many reasons included arranged marriage and love...
arranged marriage??? does it still relevant in this modern world??
Arranged marriage can be defined as a marriage arranged by someone other than the couple getting wedded, curtailing or avoiding the process of courtship.
can people who involved in arrange marriage live happily with each other?

for me...doesn't matter whether it is a love marriage or arranged marriage...as long as you know how to handle all the problems...trust, respect and responsibility are important in marriage because we will know how to solve the problems when we respect and trust each other once we get married...

music and art...

Every human-being have their own way on how to enjoy everything around them...
for example...if you ask someone about their favorite music and art...they will come out with lot of genre and types..
for me music and art is subjective...we enjoy different genre and type of music...we have our own idea why we think the song is beautiful or not...
been introduced to a beautiful song...TOOMBA by SAEEN ZAHOOR
language barrier doesn't mean anything as long as you could enjoy the melody...yes..it is a beautiful song...
put aside any issue about religion or race..just enjoy the song and you will feel the melody...
while listening to this song...it make me think about being a teacher...if i could listen to any song even i do not know the language means that i have to be with my students regardless who they are... i should know my students as i love the melody...
how beautiful it is...doesn't understand the lyrics doesn't mean that you cannot enjoy the song...it depends on us...the way we think...about everything....
